No animal products were used in the making of this video. The 'chicken' flesh is a prop made from silicone. British retailer Morrisons is misleading people with marketing myths. It claims to 'Make Good Things Happen' in adverts which portray an idyllic image of green fields and happy animals. But the truth is far darker. In 2021, an undercover investigation revealed extreme and widespread animal suffering in Morrisons’ chicken supply chain. The investigation, carried out by Open Cages, documented chickens – who have been bred to grow unnaturally big, unnaturally fast – who were deformed and collapsing in their own waste, left to suffer and die on filthy factory farms linked to Morrisons. It's time for Morrisons to take action and commit to ending the worst abuses that chickens suffer from in its supply chain – it's the very least this supermarket giant can do to help animals.
